I have taken many thousands of pictures during my 33 years of flying in Alaska.
But only since the summer of 2000 has a nice digital camera been my photographic tool. The album links at the bottom of the screen will connect you to each of 10 albums, 24 photos each, of Alaska scenes all taken during floatplane trips flying a Beaver or a Cessna 206 out of Lake Hood/Anchorage, From the album links, these pictures can be viewed as large 400 X 300 pixel thumbnails. The original 1600 x 1200 pixel versions of these 240 photos are down-loadable for one full year for $30.00. (This is a real bargain) The full sized versions are unmarked (no copyright watermark). The 1600 x 1200 pixel jpg-formatted originals can be used as screen savers, saved to your hard drive, or burned to a CD. They can be printed photographically with excellent close-up resolution, at 8 1/2 x 11 inches, on archival photographic paper by almost any drugstore film processing department. They can also be printed on your color printer. The original photos can be sized or tweaked with photo editing software such as Adobe PhotoShop, or any of the many free photo editing programs available on the internet, Picasa for one (owned by Google). If you would like to know more about any specific scene, email me with your question and I will reply to the best of my knowledge.
